“Darwin and Spencer stand themselves on a foundation of sand of gigantic assumptions, and irreconcilable contradictions.” ~C. S. Lewis
In 1925, an important intellectual and social battle took place in Dayton, Tennessee. A young high school teacher named John T. Scoops was put on trial for teaching the theory of evolution in defiance of a new state law that only creationism be taught in any state funded school. The law was called Tennessee’s Butler Act.
Clarence Darrow, a well-known lawyer arrived to defend Scopes. William Jennings Bryan, three-time presidential candidate and former Secretary of State argued for the prosecution. While John Scopes was found guilty and fined $100.00, the popular conception was that evolution was found to be a credible alternative to creationism, or the Biblical account of the origin of man.
Having gained in acceptance over the decades, the Scope’s Monkey Trial, as it came to be called, is used to discredit anyone who does not believe in evolution. The boldness and arrogance of evolutionists, outside the church, or in it, is reflected in their dogmatism.
“If you meet somebody who claims not to believe in evolution, that person is ignorant, stupid, or insane.” ~Ricard Dawkins, Biologist
“Evolution shares equal status with the roundness of the earth, its revolution around the sun, and the molecular composition of matter.” ~Michael Peterson, Theologian
Despite the dogmatism of evolutionists, despite a plethora of books, articles, lectures, and public debates, evolution is simply unbelievable for one simple reason.
No evolutionist can provide a single example, from the past, or in the present, whereby one kind of species became another kind.
Variations within species through adaptation is demonstrable true, but a bird is always a bird, it never becomes a dog. A horse is always a horse, and never becomes a monkey, and so on.
When bacteria is offered as an example of Darwinian evolution, the truth remains that whatever internal genetic change may take place in a controlled laboratory experiment, bacteria is aways bacteria, and never becomes anything else.
When Dr. Myers, Associate Professor, Biology, University of Minnesota, Morris was asked to provide one example of a species moving from one kind to another, Myers responded that cats and dogs were linked to a common ancestor 60 million years ago. When it was pointed out that the scientific method must be observable and repeatable, he offered as an example of Darwinian evolution in the stickleback fish, but then conceded that the stickleback has always remained a fish. There has never been a change of kind. A fish is still a fish.
When Carol E. Kennedy, PhD, Associate Professor, Anthropology, UCLA was
asked to provide an example of one kind of species becoming another kind, she could not think of any example.
When Craig Stanford, PhD, Professor, Biological Sciences and Anthropology, USC was asked to provide an example of one of the 14 definition of species becoming another kind, he said he could give thousands of examples, but could not think of one species changing into another kind of creature. He did offer Darwin’s finches in the Galapagos Islands, but then it was pointed out the finch remained a finch. It never became another kind of species.
When Peter Nonacs, PhD, Professor, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, UCLA was asked to provide one example of one kind of species changing into another kind, he could not do that. When asked why no evolutionist can observe a changing specie into a new kind, he said it was because of macroevolution, or the sudden development of one species into another kind.
In other words, the evolutionist knows that one species eventually becomes another kind because the basic philosophical evolutionary mechanisms demand it. The evolutionist says in essence, I know because I believe.
Great faith is placed in mutation, migration, genetic drift, and natural selection. However, faith in an unproven, untested, and unobservable mechanism is religion, not science.
The god of the evolutionist is Darwinian natural selection, which postulates a process that empowers a species best specimen to survive and reproduce. The surviving species eventually evolve into new species which then evolve into a new kind forming a common ancestor with all things.
This concept is taught endlessly in schools and universities with arrogant dogmatism.
“Human beings did not just appear at the top of the evolutionary ladder to reap the benefits of those millions of years of evolution without having to live through it.
In other words, you were those other animals. Someone had to be them.
You had to be lower animals to be a human now. You lived as all the different animals in your evolutionary line. You lived through millions of years, and millions of lives and deaths to get where you are now. That’s what Darwin’s book means.
In addition to the fossil evidence, the genetic code proves that all animals, including us, evolved from bacteria over the last 700 million years on earth.
In other words, you were a microbe, an insect, a fish, a dinosaur, an ape…” (Global Truth Project, Nov. 7, 2021)
What people are never told by the evolutionist is that,
“Natural selection cannot generate brand new genetic information. It simply doesn’t work that way. Instead, it filters information that already exists. The general theory of evolution is the idea that single-celled organisms gained new genetic information over millions and billions of years, and eventually arrived at “higher life-forms” such as man” (“Natural Selection”, Answers in Genesis).
The evolutionary theory remains a godless theory on the origin of life. Evolution is not science, and it is certainly not factual.
When the Lord God created the heavens and the earth, and all that is in the earth, He put a boundary on everything that reproduces. Each entity was to bear itself after its own kind (Heb. miyn; a sort, i. e. species; Gk. genos, “kin”). According to divine design one species cannot become another kind.
A Fruit Tree Produces A Similar Fruit Tree. “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good” (Gen. 1:11-12).
A Whale Produce a Whale. “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good” Gen. 1:21).
Cattle Produce Cattle. “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so” (Gen. 1:24).
Everything Produces After its Own Kind. “Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive” (Gen. 6:20).
How marvellous and wonderful are the works of God.
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings.
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all
The purple-headed mountain,
The river running by,
The sunset and the morning,
That brightens up the sky;
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all
The cold wind in the winter
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one;
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all
The tall trees in the greenwood,
The meadows for our play,
The rushes by the water,
To gather every day;
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all
He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.
