While the war in Russia continues, the Church must turn to Divine revelation to find a message of hope for the future. That hope is given in the book of the Revelation. The summary message in the revelation of Jesus Christ is simple: THE BEST IS YET TO COME.

This is a surprising message to many, but not for those who walk by faith and not by sight. By faith, the Revelation teaches than any Beast, such as Vladimir Putin, and any False Prophet, such as the godless theology of Communist Atheism, shall be judged.

When the Beast and the False Prophet wage war against the saints, they shall be destroyed. That Divine revelation cannot be repeated enough.  Vladimir Putin is a dead man walking because he is opposing the God of heaven, and hurting the saints on earth. The blood of those whom he has slaughtered cries out from heaven for revenge.

“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled” Rev. 6:9-11).

The saints of God in heaven plead for the law of lex talionis to be implemented on earth, and indeed, it shall be. The prayers of the souls in heaven are heard and their request shall be honored for that is the promise of God.

The book of the Revelation was given to the people of God to comfort them, in every generation, because those who follow the Lamb will have tribulation. Nevertheless, despite the hardships of life, there is the hope of eternity which God has placed in the hearts of His people. In order to encourage individuals not to lose faith, the apostle John was given a wonderful vision, set in heaven for all who believe.

There are spectacular sights and sounds to behold in Revelation, such as the throne of God, the resurrected Christ in His majestic glory, the worship of the Elders, the Living Creatures, the Martyred saints, and a great multitude which no man can number. There are songs to sing, praise to offer, and joy unspeakable. Prayers, uttered in heaven are answered. Tears are wiped away. There is the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, with streets of gold, and fruit to eat and to be satisfied by. Paradise lost is paradise restored.

In contrast, for those who dwell on earth, presented in Revelation as the ungodly and unbelieving, there are unspeakable woes, deceptions, and utter ruin for those who do not repent but, instead, follow the Dragon, that Old Serpent, the Devil, who leads angels and men to utter ruin and eternal destruction.

There are blessings associated with those who hear the Revelation read, embrace its truths, and love not their lives even unto death. So, return to Revelation and behold the Lamb, and those who overcome every obstacle to enjoy eternal life with Christ. “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Rev. 22:17).

Christians, be of good cheer. Christ has overcome the world. You shall not suffer in vain. Those who have hurt you shall be destroyed, and you shall live in glory.
