“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:16).
In the same year that America officially sanctified the slaughter of the innocent through the butchery of abortion, a mother founded an organization called PFLAG in order to publicly support her homosexual son. The anacronym stands for Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. The widespread permission to abort babies, and support of Lesbians and Gays is designed to take away any natural guilt and shame of immorality, and to normalize the unthinkable. Rather than parents and children humble themselves before God, confess personal guilt and shame, and find redemption in the love of Christ, individuals who support PFLAG would rather create an imaginary alternative unaversive to exist in.
The success of the blood thirsty Supreme Court Ruling of Roe v. Wade, and the militancy of the national organization called PFLAG, is simply a testimony to the depths of human depravity that has no respect for God, no honor for the home, and no desire to protect the sanctity of life.
The Vocabulary of the Damned
Updated in January 2021, the sexual vocabulary promoting the moral filth of PFLAG is defined in specific terms. Much time and attention has been given to the wicked words of individuals who understand the power of language to shape perceptions of other people. While pleading for sensitivity, understanding, and acceptance, anyone who disagrees with the P-FLAG agenda is labeled a bigot, or a homophobe, and is hated with overt passion. There is no sensitivity, understanding, or acceptance of any opposing view by the PFLAG supporters.
The Christian is not surprised because the Bible teaches the real battle is not between flesh and blood. There is a spiritual battle that is taking place. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Eph. 6:12-18).
Put On the Full Armor of God
With their own good and God’s glory in mind, the Bible gives Christians good counsel on how to respond to the P-FLAG community.
“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Eph. 6:13-18).
Without compromise or hesitation, the Church calls upon all PFLAG community supporters to repent, and return to normalcy, dignity, and righteousness. At the very least, consider what it means to continue in a lifestyle that is condemned by nature and by God in passage after passage: Romans 1:26-32; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:5; Revelation 21:8.
Consider What it Means to be Damned
First, to be damned means to be righteously judged by Jesus for the thoughts and deeds done in the body. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Cor. 5:10).
Second, to be damned means to be eternally separated from God, and all that is good.“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matt. 25:41).
Third, to be damned means to be punished forever and ever. “There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out” (Luke 13:28).
Fourth, to be damned means to be without hope of rescue.“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matt. 10:28).
Fifth, to be damned means to be confirmed in unrighteousnessand to give full expression to whatever particular sin a person loves unto damnation. ““He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still” (Rev. 22:11).
President Clinton named Kristine Gebbie, a lesbian, as the new AIDS czar. Four months later she spelled out her perceptions on traditional morality. She said, “[The United States] needs to view human sexuality as an essentially important and pleasurable thing. [Until it does so], we will continue to be a repressed, Victorian society that misrepresents information, denies homosexual sexuality, particularly in teens, and leaves people abandoned with no place to go. I can help just a little bit in my job, standing on the White House lawn talking about sex with no lightning bolts falling on my head.”—Associated Press, October 29, 1993.
Sixth, to be damned means there is no crossing over from a terrible place of torment to Paradise. Jesus made this clear in His story of Dives and the Rich Man.
“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead” (Luke 16:19-31).
Have you heard the warning of Moses and the prophets concerning the need to repent and do what is right? Have you responded to the royal commando of Christ to believe on Him and be saved? If not, why not do that right now?
“While we pray and while we plead,
While you see your soul’s deep need,
While our Father calls you home,
Will you not, my brother, come?
Why not now? Why not now?
Why not come to Jesus now?
Why not now? Why not now?
Why not come to Jesus now?
You have wandered far away;
Do not risk another day;
Do not turn from God your face,
But today accept His grace.
In the world you’ve failed to find
Aught of peace for troubled mind;
Come to Christ, on Him believe,
Peace and joy you shall receive.
Come to Christ, confession make;
Come to Christ, and pardon take;
Trust in Him from day to day,
He will keep you all the way.”
