From her own testimony, endlessly repeated by herself, Nancy Pelosi is a Christian woman and a devout Catholic. She insists that she has no hatred in her heart for anyone, only love.
I am sure the ears of millions of babies are straining to hear that Nancy Pelosi loves them, or would have loved them if she had not voted to terminate their precious lives in their mother’s womb. Love does not slaughter the innocent.
I am sure the ears of Present Trump would be very happy to hear the good news that Nancy loves him, and prays for him often, if only she would stop calling him “that imposter” president. Love does not speak so harshly and untruthfully.
I am sure the ears of millions of American workers and farmers would be willing to believe that Nancy loves them too, if only she would stop hurting them by failing to sign the trade agreement with Canada and Mexico, and stop the flow of opioids into their community. Love does not engage in benign neglect so that evil behavior prevails, and people are hurt needlessly.
I am not sure what definition of love Nancy Pelosi is operating from, but I could suggest she turn to 1 Corinthians 13 in her Catholic Bible and read what love (charity) does and does not do. “Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up; 5 Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth with the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never falleth away: whether prophecies shall be made void, or tongues shall cease, or knowledge shall be destroyed” (1 Cor. 13:4-8, Douay-Rheims).
God has some questions for Nancy Pelosi, and for every American. Let every professing Christian examine their own heart and answer the following questions.
Are you patient?
Are you kind?
Are you envious of someone?
Are you dealing perversely with anyone?
Are you too proud to be wrong?
Are you ambitious?
Do you see your own way?
Are you an angry person?
Do you think evil of someone?
Do you rejoice in the sins of your associates?
Do you rejoice in the truth?
“Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?” (2 Cor. 13:5). God Himself “messes” with the heart of every professing Christian for authenticity, whether they like it or not.
“Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 7:21).
To talk about having Christian love in the heart, and prayers on the lips, while trying to destroy the essence of a Divinely ordained president, and reversing the democratic choice of a nation, cannot be true truth. Let those who name the name of Jesus depart from evil. May God grant repentance unto eternal life.
