There Was Madness in the Air
According to Urban Dictionary, a New York minute is an instant. Johnny Carson once said, “It’s the interval between a Manhattan traffic light turning green and the guy behind you honking his horn.” A New York minute. That is how long it took Governor Andrew Cuomo, and a majority of New York legislators, to strip themselves of every visage of personal humanity, dignity, and compassion for unborn babies. Cuomo and company passed a law permitting later-term abortions under the disguise of a woman’s health being endangered.
What made the moment even more despicable is the public celebration of the legalized slaughter of the innocent. The previous law, which had guided the state of New York for 50 years, only permitted abortions after 24 weeks of pregnancy if a woman’s life was at risk. This new law demands a threshold, stating the women’s health is endangered.
As part of the public celebration of New York’s cruelty to children, Cuomo directed the One World Trade Center to be lit up in pink to “shine a bright light forward for the rest of the nation to follow.”
The rest of the nation will follow Governor Cuomo, and the New York legislature in this matter. According to the AP, nine other states, including California, Washington, and Oregon have put protections for abortion rights in their state statues, to preserve legal access if those states manage to overturn Roe v Wade.
By doing this, the rest of the nation will follow Governor Cuomo and company into the darkness of eternal damnation for one day, those who have shown no mercy, will receive no mercy from the righteous God of the universe, who will avenge the death of the innocent. “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord” (Rom. 12:19).
God does not say how, or when, He will exact vengeance on the cold hearts of men and women who butcher babies in late-term abortions, but He does promise He will exact justice. The author of Hebrews says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Heb. 10:31).
In an act of virtue signaling, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said, “”We’re saying here in New York, women’s lives matter. We’re saying here in New York, women’s decisions matter.” New York is also saying that the lives of unborn babies, so close to being brought into the world, do not matter. Their right to life is denied. Many late term babies will never be able to exercise their God given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.Illegal aliens will. Heartless mothers will. Greedy abortion doctors with bloody hands will. But, not the babies.
Liberal presidents and pundits like to say about America, “This is not who we are.” Well, here is a news flash. “America, this is what we are—a nation of ruthless, merciless baby killers.” This is not all America is, but it is a large part of the national legal and social fabric. The killer of babies, that is who we are. Liberal social policies, flowing from natural human depravity, brings every nation to kill its own.
Between 2012 and 2014, 285, 127 abortions were INDUCED, according to the New York State Department of Health. The number of estimated abortions in 2015 is 826, 199 according to Focus on the Family.

And according to the Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of the nation’s leading abortion seller, Planned Parenthood, who also sells baby body parts for profit.

About 15,000 abortions are attributed to rape and incest — representing 1.5 percent of all abortions.
Yes, America is a nation that kills her children. This is who we are.
But, we will not stay this way for God will one day either send a spiritual revival, leading to national mourning and repentance, or God will destroy America and raise up a more godly people. That is the testimony of time, and the declaration of Scripture. It is a moral imperative that America be held accountable for this national stain on her soul.
