The YAHOO headline for September 12, 2018 read: “Brett Kavanaugh wants to do away with legal abortion. He told us so.” Yahoo News, Alexander Nazaryan.
Along with many other life loving, and God fearing, Americans, I hope Alexander Nazaryan is correct. I earnestly pray that once Judge Brett Kavanaugh is confirmed as an Associate Supreme Court Justice, a case will come before the Supreme Court which will allow Roe v. Wade, and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, to be revisited, and overturned on merit. According to Helene Krasnoff, vice president for public policy litigation and law at Planned Parenthood, there are 14 abortion related cases now in appellate court. Perhaps one of these cases might have legal standing to be decided by the Supreme Court.
As Liberals, who are Pro Abortion, try to anticipate the impact of Roe v Wade being overturned, as they give out erroneous dire warnings to anyone who will listen, so those of us who are Pro Life should also anticipate the impact of Roe v. Wade being overturned. We can be guided in earnest prayer by our anticipations.
So, what would it mean if Roe v. Wade were overturned?
First, if Roe v. Wade were overturned, it would mean that more babies would be born. Even if the children were not conceived in love, and are not wanted by the biological mother and father, the children will still have a chance for “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” This well-known phrase in the United States Declaration of Independence would have new meaning for millions.
Second, if Roe v. Wade were overturned, it would mean stopping the tearing of babies into pieces through violent medical procedures. Many abortion techniques are on the level of those performed in the Auschwitz death camp by Dr. Josef Mengele. The Greatest Generation fought to stop the slaughter of the innocent in Europe. They did not quit until they succeeded. It is a travesty of history that, while one generation gave all to terminate the insane murder of millions, many of their children and grandchildren became as vicious, ruthless, and merciless as the Nazis.
Despite the Axis defeat in 1945, the winds of war blew the ideological desires of Adolf Hitler in Germany, to America, where Planned Parenthood, already in existence since 1916, carried on his diabolical work, and took it to a new level. If Hitler wanted to eliminate a selected group of people, particularly the Jews, Planned Parenthood is indiscriminate. The doctors and nurses will slaughter the smallest member in society of any, and every race, without question, or comment.
There is no difference between the abortion doctors in Planned Parenthood, killing babies in the twenty-fourth week of a pregnancy, and willing to perform partial birth abortions, and the gruesome, bloody practices associated with Dachau, Treblinka, and Buchenwald. Planned Parenthood is state sponsored, state protected, state funded, and staffed with individuals who can eat, drink, and be merry while participating in the extermination of others, just like those who staffed the Nazi death camps. Every American should be compelled to view the video, “1944— Scrap Book from Hell” on You Tube.
The Nazis grew rich by starving individuals, working them to death, and eliminating men, women, and children in gas chambers, while confiscating their wealth. Planned Parenthood has grown rich on aborting precious human lives. The annual budget of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and its affiliates for fiscal year 2011-2012 was $1,517,900,000—over one and a half billion dollars (Planned Parenthood Federation of America 2011-2012 Annual Report).
The Nazis established about 110 camps starting in 1933 to imprison political opponents and other undesirables. The number expanded as the Third Reich expanded and the Germans began occupying parts of Europe (Jewish Virtual Library). Planned Parenthood has expanded to 600 clinics of baby bloodletting.
During World War II, Count Helmut von Moltke, a committed follower of Christ, after documenting many human rights abuses that were being committed by the Nazi regime, wrote: “Certainly more than a thousand people are murdered…every day, and another thousand German men are habituated to murder…what shall I say when I am asked: ‘And what did you do during this time?’” (Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. page 393.) Church, let us pray that Roe v. Wade is overturned.
Third, if Roe v. Wade were overturned, it would mean that baby body parts would no longer be sold by Planned Parenthood. The average asking price for fetal body parts? Between $30 and $100 per specimen. However, “what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matt. 16:26).
Fourth, if Roe v. Wade were overturned, it would mean that America would be a greater nation. While America is a great nation in many ways, it can be greater still. Sin robs the collective soul of a nation of its moral fiber. Sin destroys decency, love, humanity, and mercy. “Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Prov. 14:34).
Fifth, if Roe v. Wade were overturned many women would become more responsible for their attitude and actions, and men as well. The current widespread practice of engaging in irresponsible sexual behavior would have to be revisited. The present “Selfie Generation” would be compelled to consider the consequences of impulsive actions. Words would take on their legitimate meaning: father, mother, home, marriage, honor, and family. Many societal delusions would be dispelled such as calling a man, a woman, or referring to a new born baby as “x”. Men would be men again. Women would be women again. Babies would be humanized again. Honesty in vocabulary would be a blessing for all in society.
There are a multitude of benefits if Roe v. Wade were overturned. Most of all, the God who gives life would be honored, for children are a gift of the Lord (Psalm 127:3).
