God’s Warning to Abortionist
When Robert Lewis Dear, 57, opened fire on a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on November 27, 2015, he was obviously emotionally and mentally disturbed. According to one neighbor, “If you talked to him, nothing was very cognitive.” While a concrete motive for the assault on Planned Parenthood is still forthcoming, it has been reported that Mr. Dear made the cryptic remark, “No more body parts.” Other reports offer the phrase, “No more baby body parts.” It is unclear what these words mean, if they were really uttered.
As a Christian, I cannot condone random killing. The Moral Law states, “Thou shalt not kill.” Murder is wrong. The policeman who was shot to death, 44-year-old Garrett Swasey, is spoken about as being a good man. He gave his life helping others. He even gave his life defending godless people working in an institution that routinely harvests baby body parts to sell on the open market.
While the actions of Robert Lewis Dear are despicable and unjustifiable, what he did will be proven to be useful, from a divine perspective, in this sense. God is sending a word of warning to Planned Parenthood, and to all who insist on slaughtering the unborn. You will reap what you sow. God will not hesitate to use the evil behavior of one individual to challenge and disrupt the evil behaviour of other individuals.
This principle of evil being used against evil is well established in Scripture. During the days of Habakkuk, the prophet lamented that the Chaldeans would be allowed to attack the covenanted nation of Israel. Habakkuk knew that the Lord is of “pure eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity” (Hab. 1:13). What Habakkuk did not concede was that Israel was worthy of the assault of the Chaldeans. Habakkuk knew that Israel was not honoring the Law. Justice was not being done (Hab. 1:4). Nevertheless, he was still surprised that the Lord had raised up the Chaldeans, “that bitty and hasty nation” to march “through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwelling places” that were not theirs (Hab. 1:8).
Habakkuk had to learn that the Lord will use those who are more evil and more ruthless, to judge those who work iniquity. This then is God’s warning to Planned Parenthood. The day of your divine destruction has just begun. Good Christian people will not blow up your buildings, or murder those with blood on their hands, and the lust for money in their hearts. But the Lord might bring a madman to arrest your behavior, and make you think about what you are doing. And then, when you still do not repent of the selling of baby body parts, the Lord will find a more severe way to destroy you. Just be assured. You will not go unpunished. God will not be mocked. You will sow what you reap, in time, and in eternity. The Bible is clear. No murderer shall inherit eternal life (1 John 3:15). Abortionists are not just murderers of the innocent, they extort money from the mothers of these precious unborn babies.
Nothing was more evil than the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. And yet God used the “wicked hands” (Acts 2:23) of the Jews to crucify Christ in order that Jesus might “destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8).
One day, when America returns to the Lord, or, when a new nation emerges from the rubble that will follow the destruction of this once great nation, people will value life once more, and will say in unison, “No more baby body parts for sell.”
Abortionists, you have been warned. Fear God. He is sovereign over the workers of iniquity, and will use evil to destroy evil. He has done it in the past. He will do it yet again. Stop the slaughter of the innocent. Stop killing babies. Stop selling baby body parts.
