It is an axiom of religious life that, belief dictates behavior. The devout Christian, who believes that Christ would have His followers love one another, and do good to all men, will try to comply with the known will of the Lord. Conversely, the devout Muslim who believes that Allah would have his followers slaughter the unsuspecting and innocent in Jihad, in the month of Ramadan, will try to comply with the known will of his bloodthirsty god.
On Thursday, July 16, 2015, around 10:45 AM eastern time, a radical Islamic homegrown terrorist complied with the will of his god, Allah. Acting alone, 24 year old Mohammed Youssef Abdulazeez began to spray bullets at a recruiting center on Old Lee Highway in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where five branches of the military have offices in a strip mall. The murdering Muslim did not care who he killed, just as long as he submitted to the will of Allah. Finishing his rampage there, Mohammed Abdulazeez drove sixteen miles, with a desire to kill burning in his bosom, placed there by the religious teachings of Islam.
Driving to the Navy and Marine Corps Reserve Center on Amnicola Highway, Mohammad Abdulazeez, in a Ford convertible, with the top down, arrived, jumped out of the car and immediately began to fire. Four Marines were killed before Allah’s killer was sent to his eternal damnation, for no murderer has eternal life.
Every decent man, woman, and child has a right to be outraged at those who kill in the name of Allah. Every God-fearing, and law-abiding human has a right to resent the murderous commandments of the Koran, and the teachers of the same, such as the grand ayatollah of Iran. Hatred for Christians, Jews, and all non-Muslims is instilled in the hearts of impressionable minds, with predicable results.
A reasonable response to radical extremism, and home grown terrorism, is to eliminate gun free zones, rearm and show respect for the police, rearm the military, and tell those who kill in the name of Allah, their behavior will be justly punished, immediately. Those who want to die as a Jihadist for Allah will die, and they should immediately die, for evil cannot be stopped in any other way.
God warned humanity of this long ago in the Garden of Eden. The Lord told Adam and Eve that the moment they disobeyed Him they would die for death is the ultimate solution to extreme acts of evil. In mercy, God gave Adam and Eve time to repent, which they did. The radical Muslims should be served notice by the United States government that they are, as of July 16, 2015, living their last days. The United States of America is coming, as surely as the American government went after Adolf Hitler, Hideki Tojo, and Saddam Hussein. It may take a new political administration to finish the job, but the evil which individuals do must be terminated.
It would be nice to think that radical Islam can be reasoned with, or contained. Historically, Neville Chamberlain, a Prime Minister of England, tried to contain the evil of Nazism, and failed. History is now repeating itself. The proposed peace treaty with Iran will fail, because it concedes too much to the unholy machinations of the Islamic religion. Five world leaders have naively doomed untold millions to death. Fifty million plus, died in World War II because of the naiveté of Chamberlain, and countless more than that will be incinerated at the hands of religious people with a nuclear weapon who want to start the final battle of Armageddon so their Twelfth Imam can emerge. Simply put, there is no reasoning with evil. It has to be utterly annihilated, which is why God told Adam and Eve they were to die. And die they did.
While the world wisely prepares for war against Iran, and their support of ISIS, as more Middle Eastern nations, such as Saudi Arabia, immediately seek their own nuclear weapon program, let Christians pray for the peace of Jerusalem. It is the will of God (Psa. 122:6). Pray also for the peace of the New Jerusalem, the church. I know that many Christians are alarmed about what is happening in the world. Only by remembering the tenets of the Christian faith will the hearts of God’s people find comfort. Now is the time to remember the promises of God.
Remember to trust in God, not government. “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God” (Psa. 20:7).
Remember to keep your heart on heaven. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isa. 26:3).
Remember not to worry about tomorrow. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof” (Matt. 6:34). Remember the sovereignty of God. “And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?” (Dan. 4:35). Remember to support individuals who are committed to God, national security, the glory of the church, and the sanctity of life. Remember to live out the ethics of the Christian life, and become a champion for Christ.
